What You'll Be Doing

  • Create customer-centric content – Use your copywriting expertise to produce high-quality, engaging content. This includes sales collateral, thought-leadership posts, web copy, presentations, video scripts, and powerful content for external marketing campaigns
  • Develop content and PR strategy – Partner with the Content Manager and Head of Marketing Services to craft and implement an innovative content and PR strategy that delivers business impact. Bring your storytelling skills to shape narratives that resonate with customers and partners alike
  • Digital and social media – Generate timely, creative, and relevant content that supports our digital strategy, drives engagement, and tells compelling stories across all channels
  • Support corporate events – Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to deliver content for corporate events, from pre-event promotion to onsite coverage and post-event activation, ensuring messaging is consistent and impactful
  • Implement editorial content plan – Play a pivotal role in delivering the editorial content plan, ensuring all content is delivered on time, on brand, and with the quality and creativity that sets NMUK apart
  • Identify key themes and messages – Work closely with marketing colleagues, agencies, and partners to uncover the stories that matter. Ask the right questions, spot opportunities, and translate insights into content that engages and informs
  • Manage agency relationships – Collaborate with the Content Manager and Head of Marketing Services to manage our agency relationships, ensuring our campaigns amplify brand visibility and reputation effectively
  • Stay updated with trends – Maintain a finger on the pulse of content marketing, digital innovation, and industry trends to keep our approach fresh and competitive
  • Contribute to reporting processes – Provide insights and updates through monthly monitoring and reporting, offering thoughtful analysis that helps shape future content strategies
  • Ensure GDPR compliance – Maintain ethical standards by ensuring all content and communications are GDPR compliant and reflect our commitment to responsible marketing

Our Must Haves

  • Experience in content, copywriting, or communications, with a proven track record of crafting engaging stories and delivering communications that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for sourcing and shaping engaging stories from internal and external sources
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining focus and quality while adapting quickly to shifting priorities
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisation, accountability, and the ability to deliver at pace within a cross-functional team
  • Exceptional communication skills, delivering messages with clarity, impact, and genuine passion to partners
  • Experience working with third-party agencies and suppliers, managing multiple projects simultaneously, providing clear and actionable briefs, and ensuring consistently high-quality outputs
  • An awareness and understanding of the business's objectives to inform the content and comms strategy
  • Marketing qualification (desirable)
