Salary:
£85,000 – £130,000 + equity + benefits

Hybrid Policy:
2–3 days in the London office (flexible for exceptional candidates within ± 3 hours GMT)

Tech:
You'll be
fluent in Python, TypeScript, Ruby, Java, or similar

About the Role

As a Senior Product Engineer with strong backend skills, you'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Building robust financial tools for high-growth technology companies
  • Shaping backend architecture and guiding product direction
  • Collaborating closely with design, product, and data teams to deliver world-class features
  • Helping define the engineering culture and technical standards from an early stage

What We're Looking For

  • 5 - 10 years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer delivering production software
  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS or FinTech environments
  • Experience in early-stage or scale-up startups - shipping fast without heavy process
  • Strong backend development skills in Python, TypeScript, Ruby, Java, or similar
  • Familiarity with Kotlin or a desire to learn it quickly
  • Experience with user-facing products and a passion for understanding customer needs
  • Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally in small teams

Bonus Points For

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field from a leading university
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or revenue operations tooling
  • Previous exposure to modern FinTech or workflow-automation products
