We are looking for a Junior Power BI Developer to join our growing team. What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in delivering insights and reports that support business decision-making. Your day-to-day will include:
- Building and maintaining dashboards – You'll develop and refine Power BI reports that provide key business insights to stakeholders across the company.
- SQL data analysis – Writing efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from our databases.
- Version Control – Maintain version control of Power BI reports and datasets (using tools like Git/VS Code) to ensure proper documentation, consistency, and rollback capability.
- Optimising reporting – Ensuring that our reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and user-friendly.
- Collaboration – Collaborate with senior analysts to define and document data requirements and KPIs
- Data quality & governance – Helping to ensure that our data is accurate, well-structured, and maintained to the highest standards.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Database familiarity – Basic understanding of data structures, relational databases.
- Power BI expertise – You should be confident in designing interactive dashboards and working with DAX to create complex measures.
- SQL proficiency – You should be comfortable querying large datasets, writing joins, aggregations, and optimising queries for performance.
- Attention skills – Attention to detail with an interest in visual storytelling and dashboard design
- Analytical mindset – You enjoy solving problems with data and can turn raw numbers into meaningful insights.
- Inquisitiveness with AI & Co-pilot – A keen interest in how AI and automation tools like Co-pilot can enhance data analysis and reporting.
- Communication skills – You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present findings in a clear, impactful way.
- Self-starter mentality – You take initiative, are eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
