Festive Cheesemongers - Glasgow

We are hiring for Festive Cheesemongers to work in our Glasgow Branch

No cheese knowledge required, all we ask is that you can commit to the month of December including Christmas Eve, for all hands-on deck during our busiest period. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time;24-hour and 40-hour contracts.

Important to note:

1st stage interviews will be held over MS Teams week beginning 3rd November 2025

2nd stage interviews will be held in person week commencing 17th November 2025

Fixed-term contracts will run from 30th November until 5th January 2026

As a Festive Cheesemonger your responsibilities will include:

• Cutting and wrapping cheese
• Providing a premium service to our loyal customers assisting with product recommendations and pairings
• Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
• Stock rotation, replenishing shelves
• General cleaning to ensure shop standards are maintained

A few things we ask of you:

• Enthusiasm for the world of F&B and to learn about cheese (no previous knowledge is required, however it is an advantage)
• Flexible availability across days/hours a week – please discuss your availability further with the hiring manager during interview
• Previous retail and/or hospitality experience is desirable
• An energy and flair for providing exceptional customer service
• A self-starter and team player you'll enjoy working as part of a small team
• Proof of right to live and work in the UK

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
