Overview

AJCS ROOFING sister company Future Proof Home Improvements is seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Fitter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing windows and doors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of technical skills within a dynamic and professional environment. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality home improvement work with a focus on professionalism, customer satisfaction, and long-lasting results.

Responsibilities

  • Install and fit windows, doors, and frames to specification.
  • Remove old fittings and ensure safe disposal of waste materials.
  • Maintain excellent customer service on-site and uphold company standards.
  • Work independently or as part of a small team to complete installations efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Report any material shortages, issues, or job progress updates to management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience fitting windows and doors (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings or specifications.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
  • Own tools would be an advantage but they can be provided.
