Transmission Vertical Sales Manager

Join Siemens Electrification & Automation (EA) as an Area Sales Manager, where you'll help transform power Transmission networks through innovative solutions and digital technology. Whether you're an engineer looking to transition into sales, a client-facing professional seeking a new challenge, or someone with relevant industry experience, we're interested in investing in the right person. Based from home with regular travel, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers teams to deliver our comprehensive Transmission Protection and Control solutions, also including MV and LV switchgear, while helping our customers build sustainable energy networks for the future.
Areas of Responsibility:
Become our customer's "go to" - relationship management with end users and main contractors for opportunity pipeline and Enquiry/Purchase Order tracking to meet growing annual targets but more importantly, to meet the expectations of our clients.
Be the internal and external liaison for the opportunity ensuring that all information required is obtained, provided (such as expected return dates or technical queries) and presented where required (such as risk profiles to senior management).
Support the sales strategy development with new ideas and continue its delivery into our sector through effective use of Market Intelligence.
Maintain Salesforce based CRM systems to ensure a high standard of data accuracy for contacts, opportunities and forecasts.

Have a growth mindset to learn successfully transition into this role and understand how we can meet the challenges our customers
Have at least one of the following:
Sales experience in a professional environment
Have experience working in a Substation or Energy site environment
Engineering experience within the area of expertise of our business
No specific qualifications are essential for this role; however Degree/ HND in Electrical Engineering would be preferable.
