French and Spanish Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey seeks a highly skilled and enthusiastic linguist to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department as a French and Spanish Teacher. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching both languages across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). The school is committed to fostering a love of languages and providing an immersive cultural learning experience.

Responsibilities:

The successful French and Spanish Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in both languages, developing students' confidence and fluency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will prepare students for relevant qualifications, create a dynamic learning environment celebrating linguistic diversity, and contribute to the MFL curriculum. Assessing progress and providing feedback are key duties for this French and Spanish Teacher role. An excellent French and Spanish Teacher is required.

Requirements:

Applicants must be a qualified French and Spanish Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree and fluency in both French and Spanish (native or near-native level). Proven experience teaching both languages at the secondary level is essential. Excellent communication skills, effective classroom management, and a passion for languages and cultural exchange are required.
