H&L is a 3rd generation family business in Twickenham that celebrated its 70th year in 2023 and we're looking for a full-time experienced Customer Services / Driver Operative to join our excellent and friendly team.

We work with some of the most prestigious car brands in the world and our busy company is looking for a cheerful team player to fill the position of Customer Services / Driver Operative. The successful candidate will have excellent customer-facing skills and will be responsible for ensuring timely collection / delivery of vehicles to our customers, completing damage repair reports, with photographs as well as managing onsite movement of vehicles.

In this role is full time between Mon-Fri 7.30 am – 6.00 pm. (either an earlier or later shift to cover these times). Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming customers on site and parking their vehicles.
  • Safely and punctually delivering / collecting vehicles for our valued customers
  • Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
  • Conducting vehicle inspections
  • Assisting our clients in completing our standard paperwork (full training given)
  • Driving our recovery truck

About you

  • Full UK, clean, C1 driving licence (Essential)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • IT and Computer Literacy
  • Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with clients
  • Ability to be a team player, under pressure
  • Capability of preserving confidential or sensitive information
  • Positive and professional attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour
