A unique opportunity has arisen for an Investment Associate to join a dynamic, agile team dedicated to connecting private investors with high-growth, early-stage technology companies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving innovation and investment in the UK economy through strategic partnerships and venture development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research private investment trends and conduct market analysis
- Prepare investor briefings and support relationship management
- Analyse internal and external investment opportunities
- Support due diligence and investment committee reporting
- Assess opportunities using innovation tools and recommend processes for tracking key metrics
About You:
- Degree or Master's (or equivalent) in a Scientific/Engineering or Business-related discipline (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Economics)
- Significant experience in strategic marketing, finance, or investment analysis roles
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience investing in early-stage technology companies
- Proven ability to synthesise complex data into clear business proposals
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel and MS Office 365 skills
Desirable:
- Experience with venture capital funds, family offices, or HNWs
- Background in innovation, research, or R&D environments
- Familiarity with the UK innovation ecosystem and early-stage investors
- Skills in data automation (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, Microsoft Flow)
