Renewables Electrician – Rickman Heat Ltd

We need an electrician to take over as the sole electrician for our heat pump, solar and battery installation business. We want someone that can take ownership of the solar PV and battery side, and drive growth in it.

You would also be responsible for designing, specifying and costing the solar systems. Training for this can be provided if you don't yet have the relevant experience.

Decarbonisation is what we do, and we love ripping out gas boilers, installing top efficiency heat pump, solar and battery systems that give our customers exceptionally high performing systems. Our systems regularly outperform the competition, as we pride ourselves on getting maximum efficiencies from everything we install. We are not here to smash installs in as quick as we can; we focus on delivering the best installation standards that we can.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a passion for decarbonisation that wants the opportunity to be fitting heat pumps and solar every day.

The job offers an opportunity to take ownership over the solar and battery systems part of Rickman Heat so requires someone that is excited by this challenge. Training and support would be given where needed.

Responsibilities

Design of solar PV and battery systems

Signoff solar PV and battery installations as nominated technical person for MCS.

Quoting solar PV and battery systems

Installation of solar PV and battery systems working alongside our roofing team.

Signoff electrical work with our competent persons scheme
