We're looking for a Production Planner to join our team and help drive operational excellence in our bakery.Direct and coordinate the manufacturing process to ensure smooth production flow.Build daily, weekly, and 7-day production plans that optimise resources, capacity, and cost.Act as the key link between departments, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.Monitor stock levels, reduce waste, and maintain >99.5% customer service levels.Support product trials, promotions, and continuous improvement projects.Analyse data, spot trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement.The Ideal CandidateWe believe that success is built upon collaboration and diverse perspectives. As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: -Previous planning or scheduling experience (ideally in food manufacturing).Strong knowledge of planning methods, Excel (advanced level), and planning systems (Aurora/System 21 desirable).Numerate and literate (GCSE standard or above).Sharp attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.A team player who communicates effectively and drives continuous improvement.We also want you to thrive in an engaging and inclusive work culture where you will have the opportunity to take on personal accountability and take pride in your work.
