Job Introduction

Based at our Head Office and Distribution Centre at Axis Business Park, Liverpool the Technical Cleaner role is ideal for those who are experienced within an industrial environment and delivering excellent standards of cleaning.

While training will be provided in regards to cleaning automated warehouse facilities, this role also includes general cleaning duties within the warehouse and office environment.

Job Overview

  • Cleaning in and around automated storage and retrieval crane aisles
  • Sweeping and jet washing under and around warehouse equipment including loading bays, industrial bailers and compactors, pallet conveyor/handling systems and automated lift systems
  • Trailer yard litter picking
  • Operating industrial ride on and hand operated Scrub/Dryer machinery
  • Use cleaning materials and consumables as instructed
  • Ensure safe working practices
  • Ensure all equipment used is to an hygienic standard and following the warehouse colour codes at all times
  • Wear correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as supplied by the Company
  • Adhere to Company cleaning procedures at all times

Minimum Criteria To Apply

  • Cleaning experience in a large-scale commercial/industrial setting
  • High standards of cleanliness
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • COSHH Level 2
  • Working at height
  • Ladder inspection and safety
  • Computer proficient

Package

  • £13.41 per hour
  • 7am to 3pm, 5 out of 7 days, 37.5 hours per week
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.5 weeks upon 5 years' service
