Internal Sales/Key Account Manager – Belfast
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join our dynamic and growing Sales Team based in Belfast. This role is key to providing exceptional service to our expanding customer base, ensuring all enquiries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in customer service or account management, coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills.
About the Role
As an Internal Sales/Key Account Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately. You'll play a vital role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and delivering a first-class customer experience.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily customer interactions via phone, email, and web, ensuring timely and professional responses to all enquiries.
- Processing orders with accuracy and monitoring scheduled orders and consignment stock levels.
- Working closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure stock availability and timely replenishment.
- Coordinating deliveries with the Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient dispatch and on-time delivery.
- Handling backorders, keeping customers informed, and ensuring prompt fulfilment once stock arrives.
- Managing customer queries, returns, and credits efficiently, liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth resolution.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in customer service, internal sales, or account management, ideally from a mechanical engineering background
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
- Calm and professional under pressure with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Exceptional telephone manner and clear written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Location: Belfast
- Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
