JOB ROLE

We are looking for a 16+ Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. We're looking for people who have a passion for the hospitality industry and who are willing to learn quickly. The successful candidate will possess the ability to remain calm under pressure and will be an excellent representative of our company's values. This position will offer flexible hours, and would be ideal for students or graduates. The role will encompass part-time hours, and so would be ideal for students or those looking for additional experience without a multi-faceted hospitality role.

As a member of the Front of House team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our patrons, while demonstrating excellent knowledge of all common areas in a cafe premises. Your primary responsibilities will include: preparation and serving of food and drinks; preparation and serving of food items such as sandwiches, salads and hot food; engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organised work area; and upholding high standards of customer service. By delivering efficient service and fostering a friendly atmosphere, you will contribute to the overall success and reputation of the business.

You will be expected to follow company policies and procedures, with particular attention to health and safety, licensing, and equality and diversity. To further your development and knowledge you will be expected to attend training as necessary. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to all patrons of the cafe.
• Preparing and serving coffee, non-alcoholic, and alcoholic beverages.
• Preparing and serving food items, such as paninis, sandwiches, and hot food items.
• Operating point-of-sale systems and handling credit and debit card transactions.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the premises.
• Checking identification and enforcing age restrictions for alcohol service.
• Assisting in maintaining stock levels, restocking, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Participating in regular training sessions to improve service quality and product knowledge.
• Adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements related to alcohol service, health and safety, and licensing laws.
