Job Title: Specialist Facialist Therapist / Skin Therapist

Hours: Full Time / Part Time considered Monday - Saturday

Annual leave 34 days per year (including public holidays) pro rata for part time working.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience with performance incentives

Role Summary:

To deliver advanced, medically aligned facial treatments including clinical facials, peels, LED therapy, microcurrent and rejuvenation protocols within a consultant-led environment.

We are seeking a client focussed and experienced Skin Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding skin therapy and healthcare team working in a modern, purpose-built healthcare facility providing skin therapy services to our medical patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• To deliver exceptional treatments using medical grade products and leading edge technology that promotes rejuvenation and overall well-being for our clients, creating a calming and luxurious experience for every client.
• Conducting thorough consultations to understand each client's individual needs, concerns, and medical considerations, and offering expert advice on suitable treatments and aftercare
• Delivering a wide range of high-quality treatments such as facials and specialist services using appropriate techniques and premium products to meet client needs and desired outcomes.
• Maintaining a clean, calm, and welcoming clinic environment, ensuring all treatment areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation at all times.
• Recording accurate client information and treatment notes, including recommendations for future care and home routines.
• Providing exceptional customer service, building genuine rapport with guests, and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.
• Promoting products, packages and services offering tailored recommendations to help clients maintain wellness between visits and contribute to revenue growth.
• Support service development and maximise revenue through the proactive recommendation and retailing of products, ensuring clients can continue their wellness journey at home.
• Staying current with industry trends and techniques through continuous learning, professional development, and training opportunities.
• Working collaboratively with the Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Laser Therapists and Aesthetic Practitioners to ensure seamless operations, supporting each other to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Carry out skin assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide pre- and post-treatment skincare support.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

The successful applicant must be a dedicated skin therapist/facialist who is passionate about skin. You will be required to provide an efficient and professional service whilst displaying exceptional attention to detail.

• Must be at least NVQ Level 3 beauty therapy qualified – Level 4/5/HND preferred
• Must have at least 3 years' experience since qualification carrying out facials in a professional environment
• Must have an excellent standard of skin therapy skills and have up to date knowledge and experience in the delivery of specialised electrical treatments such as Dermalux, micro-needling, Radio frequency tightening and electrical facial machines
• Strong knowledge of skin conditions and contraindications.
• Must be dedicated to selling our range of skin care products to enhance treatment results
• Experience of the following skin care ranges would be considered an advantage:- Image, Environ, ZO Skin Health, Obagi Medical
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent client care skills with good verbal and written communication
• Team player with the ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks
• Maintain a very high standard of confidentiality adhering to GDPR and Data Protection legislation
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary clinical settings.
