We are looking for HGV Class 1 driver required to join our rapidly expanding, busy plant hire team in Sandbach.

The HGV Driver will be required to deliver construction plant and agricultural machinery on a rigid truck. Experience within the construction / plant hire industry is not essential because full training will be given in the safe and secure movement of plant and agricultural machinery.

Deliveries are commonly made to building sites and private residences, therefore the successful candidate would need to be a competent and confident HGV Driver with a can do attitude

Being able to work unsupervised and complete the necessary documentation is essential as would awareness of health and safety obligations at all times, the successful candidate can expect to enjoy a varied and interesting occupation with a good remuneration to reflect their skills and dedication to the company.

The package:

  • Basic Rate: £16.00
  • Overtime paid over 45 hours at 1&⅓, 1&½ and double time. Call Out bonus £ Discretionary Xmas Bonus. Pension Scheme. Training. Team days.
  • Monday to Friday. Overtime available evenings and weekends.

Essential:

  • HGV Class 1
  • CPC Licence

Beneficial but not essential:

  • Experience with the construction / plant hire industry.
  • Experience operating heavy plant; excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers etc.
  • Experience driving flatbed / low-loader.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£32.00 per hour
