As a start-up organisation, this is an exciting time to join us. We're building a dedicated team of carers who will grow with the company with plenty of opportunity to progress into Senior, Coordinator, and Management roles as we expand.

We are looking for two experienced Senior Carers who are passionate about providing person-centred care and supporting a growing team.

You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring service users receive the very best care in line with CQC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Support residents in following their individual care plans and monitor their health and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
  • Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.
  • Deliver high-quality personal and practical care in service users' own homes
  • Support, mentor, and guide junior care staff
  • Complete spot checks, care plan reviews, and observations
  • Liaise with families, professionals, and the management team
  • Ensure care documentation is completed accurately and promptly
  • Promote safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Senior Carer or similar role
  • Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Confident with care planning, medication, and record keeping
  • Flexible, reliable, and passionate about care excellence
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
