Your Role
The Integration Systems Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and delivering service integrations, including the configuration and validation of connectivity required to support data transport for Ultromics AI application services. They will apply systems analysis techniques to ensure smooth onboarding of customers, secure and efficient connectivity, and continuous optimization of integrations.
Reporting to the Director of PMO, this role works closely with sales, platform, and service operations teams, as well as external stakeholders, to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement technical integrations that meet business and clinical needs. Following implementation, they will exercise judgment to troubleshoot, modify, and improve integration services, and will provide expert input during escalations to maintain continuity and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and deliver technical integrations for Ultromics' services (DICOM, HL7, custom APIs), ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
- Lead and contribute to all aspects of service integrations, including design, configuration, testing, and validation.
- Consult with customers, Sales, Customer Success and IT teams to gather workflow, connectivity, and functionality requirements, translating them into system specifications.
- Configure, validate, and support connectivity between customer clinical IT systems and Ultromics platforms, exercising independent judgment to address issues.
- Design, create, and maintain VPN tunnels and other secure connectivity methods, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
- Manage and modify HL7 integrations, monitoring data transfer reliability and optimizing workflows to meet customer needs.
- Maintain and improve integration configurations and documentation as systems evolve, testing and implementing updates to ensure performance and scalability.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve integration and connectivity issues, escalating to vendors or internal engineering teams when necessary.
- Develop and deliver training to new hires and internal stakeholders on integration processes and Support.
• Produce and maintain customer data flow diagrams and IT landscape documentation to support onboarding and troubleshooting. - Collaborate with customer IT teams, clinical staff, and third-party vendors to resolve complex integration issues and ensure successful onboarding.
- Support and advise on security, compliance, and IT governance processes during onboarding and integration activities.
- Stay current with integration technologies, networking protocols, and cybersecurity practices, applying new knowledge to improve systems and processes.
- Follow good information governance practice throughout this job role and ensure compliance with Ultromics' information security and data protection policies in all applicable assigned tasks.

Requirements
Your skills and experience:
- Significant experience in healthcare IT, systems integration, or technical implementations, with proven ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and manage complex integrations.
- Strong knowledge of networking, firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and VPN setup, with ability to independently configure, optimize, and resolve connectivity challenges.
- Hands-on experience with HL7, DICOM, and PACS integrations, including modifying and testing interfaces to meet customer requirements.
- Strong IT and communication skills, with ability to consult with and advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on requirements, solutions, and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and security practices, with ability to apply policies and recommend improvements during implementations.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute work independently, making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), including designing, configuring, and optimizing integrations in cloud infrastructure.
Your desired skills and experience:
- Bachelor's in relevant degree.
- Experience in a venture capital-backed start-up or scale-up environment.
