secured several major projects resulting in a need to expand the senior team in the field of Systems and Safety. The company works
on large, exciting Aerospace projects within a dynamic SME environment.

We support a wide range of clients giving our engineers the opportunity to work on everything from fast jets to VTOL, and all electric vehicles.

Due to growth, we are looking for a key / managerial person (at Senior Principal level) who has experience of Aerospace Safety or Systems (or both), who has worked at aircraft, system and equipment levels.

This is an interesting and challenging role, working with the biggest names in the industry. The role includes the following -

  1. To act as a Principal Systems Engineer supporting the development of multiple systems.

  2. To provide Systems expertise to support the development of more junior engineers and lead the systems engineering activities being performed in the office.

  3. To technical lead projects and be a primary Point-of-contact to key clients.

  4. Perform Functional Systems Design work system Architecture, using MBSE methods and tools

  5. Carry out mathematical modelling tasks using Siemens Amesim software, Simulink or other.

  6. Take technical responsibility on the delivery of technical deliverables.

  7. Support the Programme Lead on task allocation and resource planning to ensure successful and on-time delivery of technical services.

  8. Look to innovate on potential new product areas for potential research options

  9. To uphold and enhance our reputation with customers by providing high quality, on-time deliverables and by always acting with integrity.

Beneficial

  1. Verification by simulation experience

  2. Matlab, Simulink and CFD experience

  3. Verification by test experience DO-160

Technical Skills

  1. Requirements Engineering

  2. Systems or product architecture design

  3. Verification methods

  4. System process knowledge (ARP 4754A and ARP 4761A)

  5. 10+ years experience of system of product design in an aerospace engineering environment

  6. Experience of taking products or systems through Concept, PDR, CDR and into service

  7. Must have or be able to obtain UK Security Clearance

Candidate Profile

· st Degree in relevant discipline (or equivalent)

·       Extensive aerospace engineering experience

·       Soft skills: Collaborative, good / clear communicator, people person, logical & adaptable

Extra Details

·       Role is based in Bristol nr M5/M4, onsite role with a 'some' flexible working

·       Able to visit client workplaces

·       Full-time
