Colne Valley High School, part of Great Heights Academy Trust, is embarking on an exciting journey of improvement under our new Executive Principal. We are looking to appoint a passionate, dynamic individual to the role of Assistant Catering Manager.

About the Role:

You will provide support to our Catering team and lead on the effective functioning of catering services ensuring all our young people are provided with a positive, consistent and highly nutritious meal experience.

You will be responsible for assisting in leading a team to deliver a high standard of catering which complies with all applicable food standards, laws and legislation.

Your main areas of focus will be:

• Strategic operations
• Enhancing the brand identity
• Elevating the dining experience
• Service compliance and quality assurance
• Implementing guidance and best practices
• Operational strategies for value for money
• Integrating catering into education

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and motivated individual with personal drive. You will be a self-starter, who can work with minimal supervision; proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and to prioritise work accordingly. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with all members of our Trust community.
