Strike Academy is dedicated to introducing children to football in a fun, safe, and engaging way. We believe in developing not just physical skills, but also confidence, teamwork, and a love of sport from an early age.
Hours: Every Saturday (morning) , opportunity for more within our academy
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Football Coach to lead fun, engaging sessions for children aged 1.5 to 4 years old. Our ideal candidate has experience working with young children, enjoys being part of a team, and can confidently manage groups of 15–20 toddlers while following session plans and instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver age-appropriate football sessions in a fun, safe, and engaging way
- Follow structured lesson plans and coaching guidelines
- Manage groups of young children effectively
- Communicate clearly with parents and guardians
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff
- Ensure safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children (coaching, childcare, early years, or similar)
- Confident, energetic, and patient
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Reliable and committed to every Saturday
- FA coaching badges or childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
