Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Girls Knitwear Designer based in London. The designer will be responsible for creating and designing innovative knitwear collections, contributing to trend development, and preparing mood boards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the product development team, ensuring designs align with market trends, attending fittings, and refining designs based on feedback. The designer will also be involved in the sketching and knitting processes to bring creative ideas to life while meeting brand specifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience with creating Mood Boards and conducting detailed Trend Research to inform design direction
  • Proficiency in Knitting and Sketching, with a strong eye for detail and creativity
  • Skill in conducting fittings and making adjustments based on feedback
  • Knowledge of current market trends in fashion, specifically in knitwear and children's clothing
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline is preferred
  • Previous experience in knitwear design within the fashion industry is highly desirable
