Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in providing exceptional customer services. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving, cleaning, washing up and ensuring that the cafe runs smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for customers.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and refreshments.
  • Provide excellent customer services by responding to inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
