Part Time Sports Coach - Based at two sites - St Ives and Elsworth (Cambs)

If you are a passionate and motivated Sports Coach then Youth Dreams Project Cambridge would like to hear from you.

We are looking for a sports coach to deliver sessions within one of the Alternative Provision settings that we work with on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional coach with ambition to inspire and develop students. They will need to plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions. They will be required to build on the already positive working relationship with the setting, continuing the rapport with students and ensuring that they receive the right support to give them the best possible chance to improve and develop their sports skills.

Working individually and as part of a team, they will be responsible for sports based physical activities, holding discussions and conversations on nutrition, fitness and health, and sending half-termly reports to the setting discussing the students' progression, what's been covered and what will be focused on in future sessions.

Ideal skills, certificates and qualifications required for the role:

  • Minimum Level 1 Sports Coaching or above
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Safeguarding Children
  • First Aid Training
  • Driving license

If you do not have the above, but are vastly experienced and have played sport at a high level we would still like to hear from you.

WORKING HOURS: 9am-12pm & 12:30pm-3:30pm DAILY

HOURLY RATE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
