Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Vacancy Details

In the Senior Quantity Surveyor (HPC) position you will be working on high value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the defence, nuclear, oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.

Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of key nuclear and defence projects
  • Commercial responsibility from contract award through to completion and final account
  • Managing variations and changes with customers
  • Working as part of an experienced commercial team
  • Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally with Nuclear or construction industry experience in a commercial role
  • Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
  • An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
