Overview
We are seeking an experienced Wheel Aligner to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle wheel alignment, with excellent attention to detail and customer service skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert alignment services while engaging with diverse clients. The successful applicant will be responsible ensuring vehicles are aligned accurately, contributing to vehicle safety and performance, and supporting the overall efficiency of the position and will also be resposible for growing this division of the business.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise wheel alignments on a variety of vehicle makes and models using specialised equipment
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify alignment issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed through data entry systems
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and the services required, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Assist in upselling the wheel alignment department and additional services or products that benefit the customer's vehicle performance and safety
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in excellent condition and adhere to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience as a Wheel Aligner or in a similar automotive technician role specialising in wheel alignment
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Analytical skills necessary for diagnosing alignment issues accurately and recommending appropriate solutions
- Experience in upselling additional this service and additonal services and products that we supply
- Knowledge of analysis tools and techniques used in wheel alignment processes is essential
