The Role:

Reporting to our Analytics Engineering Lead, the Senior Analytics Engineer will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and developing new strategies and models to enhance business efficiency and performance, while also addressing operational, financial, and technological risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with business units to gain an in-depth understanding of Medik8's business strategy, processes, operations, and roadmap.

Create visibility on business performance and process metrics through high-level data dashboards, enabling key stakeholders to make critical and informed decisions.

Develop an understanding of the company's strategic objectives, key business metrics, and the needs of all departments to define and lead business information systems streams.

Contribute to fostering a data-driven culture, advocating for data as a main driver, and promoting the importance of analytics.

Produce and maintain a complete, accurate, and relevant suite of reports to serve cross-functional teams, providing data that facilitates simplicity, efficient use of skills, and powerful decision-making.

Proactively engage with the business to gather, document, and gain sign-off on ongoing business requirements, adapting quickly and generating timely visibility on critical and relevant data for end-users to act on.

Perform data mapping to identify data gaps and collaborate with the data team and business users to source additional required information.

Create and lead an engaged and high-performing team that understands business needs and utilise data tools efficiently, ensuring quality and on-time delivery of necessary reports.

Guarantee adherence to data handling principles and best practices at all times.

We're Looking for Someone With:

Solid experience in an Analytics Engineer or similar role within BI or Data, with practical experience working in Agile development environments.

Advanced SQL skills and experience working with modern data stacks (Bigquery and DBT).

Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (Looker, Omni, Power BI).

Strong commercial acumen – understanding both data and the business problems it solves.

Familiarity with version control (Git); Python skills are a bonus.

Exposure to orchestration tools such as DBT, Airflow, or Orchestra.

Comfortable working autonomously in fast-paced, unstructured environments.

Proficiency in designing both analytical and operational data models.

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Exhibits strong attention to detail, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all tasks and projects.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Skilled in presenting complex information in a simple, visual, and impactful way.

A genuine interest in AI technologies and data innovation.
