Bracknell (3 days in the office, 2 remote) – candidates in Hemel Hempstead or Swanley considered

Are you an experienced Bid Manager or Senior Bid Writer with a strong track record in construction or social housing?

We're looking for a strategic and creative professional to write, manage, and lead high-value bids and tenders that help us win major contracts in the social housing and refurbishment sector.

You'll also lead a small but talented bid team, ensuring consistency, compliance, and winning outcomes.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing bid team
  • Write and manage winning bids and tenders from start to finish
  • Design and implement bid strategies for construction and social housing projects
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Operations, and other stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements and ensure compliance and consistency
  • Analyse win/loss feedback to improve bid success continually

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience writing and managing successful bids in the construction or social housing sector (essential)
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a team
  • Excellent understanding of UK procurement regulations and processes
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach and attention to detail
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours for deadlines
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Relevant professional qualifications
