Compensation: £60-£65k,15% bonus annual, company car
Location: Heathrow Airport, 100% on-site role with need for occasional travel

In this role you will be responsible for driving operational and revenue performance at our flagship London Heathrow location. Leading by example, you will inspire, develop and grow your team, managing and motivating staff to achieve the exceptional customer-led service culture Avis prides itself on delivering to its customers.
The incumbent must work well in a dynamic, high growth, sales driven environment focused on operating and service excellence.
The main purpose of this position is to manage the airport region's growth and profitability objectives, implementation of company standard operating procedures, development of high performing teams whilst ensuring delivery of the best possible customer service levels expected from the brands.
What we are looking for:
Core Accountabilities
Drive and strengthen key relationships with Heathrow Airport (HAL), Avis, partners like British Airways and Air Canada, and local communities to increase footfall, rental numbers, and revenue.
Lead business strategy execution, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and driving operational excellence.
Promote positive customer experiences and fleet standards to maximize retention and referrals.
Lead, develop, and coach store management teams to boost engagement, productivity, and performance.
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage business controls, including cost monitoring, forecasting, and P&L awareness.
Inspire innovation by collaborating with the innovations team to trial new initiatives.
Monitor competitor and market trends and advise senior leadership on opportunities and challenges.
Present monthly reports to key stakeholders on trends, initiatives, and market insights.
Organize and participate in networking and team-building events.
Support Heathrow operations during peak times and lead operational activities to audit standards.
Authority & Influence
Monitor and control budgeting and team expenses using P&L accounts.
Conduct regular business reviews to ensure performance targets and cost control.
Coach and influence direct reports and other business areas.
Lead change initiatives, including developing new sales materials, upskilling staff, and implementing sales initiatives.
Define and promote best practices within the team and across the business.
Internal & External Interaction
Build strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and local community organizations.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including GM, HRBP, Head of Local Markets, and departments like partnerships, marketing, innovation, and commercial vehicles.
Ensure supplier SLAs are met and operational processes are optimized.
Communicate effectively at all organizational levels to align messaging and business objectives.
Essential Requirements
Experience & Leadership
Proven experience in developing robust and successful sales strategies.
5+ years' management experience in retail, service, hospitality, or related industries.
Experience leading large teams, including managing other leaders.
Track record of relationship building and managing suppliers, partners, and customers.
Demonstrable commercial acumen.
Prior P&L responsibility, with a history of year-on-year sales and profit growth.
Proven track record in hiring, coaching, training, and staff retention.
A proven background of effective leadership.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong operational and logistics knowledge.
Target-driven mindset.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to enhance quality levels and customer experience.
Understanding of KPIs and their role in business development.
