Ricoh Europe is seeking a highly skilled IT Cost Planner to join our dynamic PMO team. Reporting to our Portfolio Manager for Strategy and Planning, you will be responsible for optimising IT spending, ensuring every investment delivers value. Your role will involve managing the IT budget planning cycle, developing cost models, analysing spend data, and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

As an IT Cost Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Ricoh's financial strategy, working closely with IT Finance, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with Ricoh's strategic priorities. If you have a passion for financial analysis, budget planning, and IT cost optimisation, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

IT Budget Planning

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual IT budget (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimisation.

TCO Management

  • Implement effective budget control mechanisms and processes.
  • Collaborate with finance and program managers to ensure smooth budget submissions and approvals.
  • Assist with business case creation for investment review boards and track budget changes.

You will ideally have

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in IT cost management, financial analysis, and portfolio budget management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Desired professional certifications (CMA, CPA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience with contract management software and tools is desirable but not essential.
