Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties

  • Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Foster effective communication with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
  • Monitor and record children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
  • Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nappy changes, and outdoor play
  • Lead small group activities to encourage learning through play
  • Support the management team in organising educational resources and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
  • Occasionally assist with transportation of children using company vehicles, subject to driving licence requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
  • Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
  • Demonstrated management or leadership skills within an educational or childcare environment
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Experience with organising activities that foster learning through play and social interaction
  • Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation responsibilities
