Due to an increase in patient numbers, we require a salaried GP for 4 sessions per week. Your working days would be a Wednesday all day and another full day by mutual agreement. We are a well established, forward thinking, friendly practice and always looking for ways to improve our patients care. We are located in a purpose built health centre at Eastwood Health Centre, Clarkston and we also have a branch surgery in Eaglesham. Our current list size is 9,400 patients. We are a highly respected, successful GP surgery. A recent patient satisfaction survey scored us very high in patient satisfaction. Further information below:-

  • We have 6 GP Partners
  • We have a dedicated team of 8 administrators, 2 senior administrators, office manager, practice manager, 2 practice nurses, ANP & HCSW.
  • We have attached staff from our HSCP – link worker, pharmacists, HCSW, ANP, Physiotherapist
  • We have a treatment room on site
  • We have parking at both sites
  • We are a training practice and currently have 4 GP registrars with us, at our recent accreditation we were commended for our very high quality standards of educational supervision
  • We operate 15 minute appointments
  • We use EMIS and Docman (We'll be changing to Vision in the near future)
  • We hold weekly team meetings
  • We operate Docman workflow optimisation, to reduce GP workload
  • You will be automatically enrolled into the SPPA pension scheme
  • Paid study leave
  • We operate a cycle to work scheme and an annual leave buyback scheme

Staff wellbeing is a priority and we have many enhanced staff policies in place, for example, staff wellbeing policy, generous maternity policy, menopause policy to name a few. We have regular team building events and staff nights out, we also have a craft club.

The salary and annual leave are in line with the BMA salaried GP contract. The start date is as soon as convenient for both parties.
