We are currently seeking a Mental Health Nurse to join our team at various locations in Essex, including Basildon, Southend, Grays Thurrock, Colchester, Chelmsford, Barking Dagenham, Ilford, and Stratford Newham. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients suffering from mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other related illnesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and monitoring the mental health of patients
  • Creating and implementing care plans
  • Administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Communicating with patients and their families
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient care
  • Providing support and guidance to care assistants and other healthcare staff

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin
  • At least 1 year of experience working in mental health nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments
  • Strong observational and analytical skills
  • Experience in risk assessment and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits:

We offer weekly pay and holiday pay, with a pay range of £9.50 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience. We provide flexible working hours and shifts, allowing you to balance your work with your personal life. Free training is provided to our employees to help them grow and develop their skills.
