About the Role

• Contracted Hours: 12 hours per week, with the possibility of occasional overtime during breakfast shifts.
• Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Shift Times: 17:00 – 21:00
• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

A day in the life of…

As a Social Evening Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests during our Staybridge Suites Evening Social

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a selection of snacks and drinks, ensuring everything is ready before 18:30.
• Serve drinks and keep snack and beverage stations replenished throughout the evening.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting lounge and dining area, ensuring tables and surfaces always look their best.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and genuine manner — whether through light conversation or more lively chats that help create a relaxed social environment.
• After the event, clear and clean tables, wash plates and glasses, and return them to their designated areas.
• Prepare for the next day, setting up snacks and ensuring the breakfast and lounge areas are spotless and ready to go.
• Label all prepared snacks according to food safety procedures and make sure the kitchen is fully cleaned and ready for the next shift.
• Close the kitchen by removing rubbish, cleaning all work surfaces, and ensuring it's left in a hygienic and organized condition.

What do we need from you?

• Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role — what matters most is your passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and bringing our brand standards to life every evening.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Great attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting dining and lounge area.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts, typically during social hours, with occasional breakfast weekend availability as required.
