Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled 
SAP Ariba Consultant (Contractor)
 to join our project delivery team on-site in the UK. The consultant will be responsible for driving the successful implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP Ariba solutions within a client's SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute SAP Ariba implementation or enhancement projects, covering all project phases — from requirements gathering to go-live support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand procurement processes and translate them into effective Ariba solutions.
  • Configure and deploy key
    SAP Ariba modules
    such as:
  • Ariba Sourcing
  • Contract Management
  • Supplier Lifecycle & Performance
  • Procurement / Buying & Invoicing
  • Guided Buying
  • Integrate Ariba with
    SAP ECC or S/4HANA
    via
    CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)
    .
  • Support testing cycles, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide knowledge transfer, training, and post-go-live stabilisation support.
  • Liaise with offshore and functional teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
  • Document all configurations, functional designs, and project deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years
    of hands-on SAP Ariba functional consulting experience.
  • Proven track record in at least
    two full lifecycle SAP Ariba implementations
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    source-to-pay (S2P)
    and
    procure-to-pay (P2P)
    business processes.
  • Integration experience between
    Ariba and SAP ERP systems
    (ECC/S4HANA) using CIG.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills — capable of working directly with client teams onsite.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with offshore and project stakeholders.
  • SAP Ariba certification(s)
    are advantageous.
