London, Greater London, United Kingdom HelloFresh Full time €60,000 - €120,000 per year
About HelloFresh Group

At HelloFresh Group, our mission is to change the way people eat forever. As the world's leading DTC food solutions Group, we are aiming to capture an ever-growing share of the total food market. Our Corporate Strategy & Development team acts as the central thought partner to our Senior Leadership, guiding and supporting the most critical decisions on our future growth, investments, and strategic direction.

The role

As a (Senior) Manager, Corporate Strategy & Development, you will be a key thought partner to the Director and a critical analytical resource for our Senior Leadership. This is a high-exposure hybrid role, acting as the strategic and analytical engine for our most important decisions.

You will be responsible for driving quantitative and qualitative workstreams that shape our portfolio strategy, critical strategic projects, and our end-to-end M&A process. You will personally build complex financial models, develop strategic frameworks, conduct market analysis, and prepare executive-level outputs that guide our capital allocation, investments, and long-term strategy.

What you'll do
  • M&A and Inorganic Strategy: Drive analytical workstreams for our M&A strategy, building and owning financial models, analyzing targets, and managing end-to-end M&A processes.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Lead strategic analysis for key portfolio decisions, including potential geo-expansions, new vertical or brand launches or divestments.
  • Capital Allocation: Develop and improve the analytical frameworks and models to support our strategic budget allocation and ROI analysis.
  • Corporate Strategy: Support the development of the Group's mid-term outlook by owning the underlying analysis, data synthesis, and preparation of strategic documents.
  • Business Unit Strategy: Act as an internal consultant, supporting our key business units across geographies on a project-by-project basis to develop their mid-term strategies and solve their most complex challenges.
What you'll bring
  • Experience: 3+ years of high-performance experience from a top-tier Management Consulting firm, Investment Banking, or a comparable in-house Strategy / Corporate Development team.
  • Financial Acumen: Experienced-level financial modeling (Excel) and valuation skills are required. You are a 'hands-on' operator who is just as comfortable building the model from scratch as you are managing processes and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Strategic Toolkit: Exceptional qualitative and analytical problem-solving skills. You are hypothesis-driven and can own and structure complex analytical problems from end-to-end.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, concise storylines, presentations and memos for an executive audience.
  • Cultural Fit: A high-ownership, 'roll-up-your-sleeves' mentality. You thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and have a passion for going deep into the analysis to get the right answer.
What we offer
  • Healthy discount on weekly HelloFresh boxes
  • Annual learning and development budget to attend conferences or purchase educational resources plus access to the HelloFresh Academy
  • Subsidized childcare with a professional nannying agency
  • Free access to Headspace, biweekly in-house yoga classes (remote since March 2020)
  • A diverse and vibrant international environment of 70+ different nationalities
  • Additional perks include: Free crash course in German, compensation for advanced external German classes, discounts for our neighboring gym & Urban Sports Club, summer & winter parties, discount on our HelloFresh vending machines
  • The chance to have a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe in an exciting growth phase
