Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Technical Team Lead, located in our central Neath office
with occasional work from home acceptable. Our Technical Team Lead will be responsible for coordinating team activities, managing schedules, handling technical administrative and project tasks, meeting with stakeholders, and maintaining asset records. The role also includes supporting the team with communication, project management, and customer interactions.
We are looking for someone to help optimise our team efficiency and uphold the highest standards of delivery for our clients with our leading industry technology solution.
Qualifications
· Ideally Scrum Master certified or strong project management experience
· Must have a strong technical background
· Must have strong organisational and leadership abilities
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must have excellent customer service skills
· Must have proficiency in office software and tools
· Should have an understanding of Agile team processes
· Experience in the Smart Buildings or IT support industry is a plus
Responsibilities
Your responsibility to the team will be to understand and drive their daily taskings. As a leader, your role is to facilitate the capability of our technical team members to deliver on client expectations.
This will mean understanding the changing priorities of client technical projects to help direct efforts where they are needed most. Leveraging the resources and skill sets of team members on appropriate taskings for improved efficiency and success.
We need you to create and uphold new processes to optimise our growing team efforts and support team development and wellbeing. This will include making sure our equipment and licence asset inventories are well-maintained.
Everyone will benefit from your long-term project roadmaps to meet deadlines and optimise resources across multiple concurrent projects. You will be expected to communicate directly with clients and in the team on project progress and success.
Your role will involve assisting with client queries and taking overall responsibility for arranging IT access, documentation, and third-party meetings where needed.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the technical team operations. For this, you will need to understand our technical environment and our client deliverables. The team should complete their daily taskings to the highest standard, such as; web monitoring, software development, updates and backups, and issue resolution.
We expect you will have "your finger on the pulse" to report to the wider team and directors at any time. Your feedback will be invaluable to help shape new tooling, processes, and roles, to help drive Fantom Factory to new heights.
