Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting students' learning across a range of subjects.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance with their work.
  • Help prepare lesson materials and keep the classroom organized to create a productive learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to ensure that all students receive the necessary help to achieve their potential.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and contribute effectively to the school's objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and mathematics is required.
  • An A Level or degree in a relevant subject is an advantage but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not mandatory – full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently when required.
