  • Participate in clinical decision-making, patient flow coordination, and referrals to specialty teams.

  • Contribute to departmental teaching, audit, and quality improvement projects.

  • Ensure safe handover and effective communication across shifts.

  • Uphold Trust values around patient safety, dignity, and clinical excellence.

Essential:

  • Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.

  • Minimum 6–12 months NHS experience in Emergency Medicine at Registrar/Middle Grade level.

  • ALS / ATLS / APLS certification (current or recently expired).

  • Strong communication and leadership skills under pressure.

Desirable:

  • MRCP / MRCEM (or equivalent)

Why Join This Role?

  • Work in a busy, central London A&E serving a diverse and dynamic patient population.

  • Flexible rota to suit your schedule – ad-hoc, weekend, or block bookings.

  • Competitive hourly rates with fast registration and onboarding.

  • Excellent consultant support and structured departmental handovers.

  • Opportunity to broaden experience across majors, resus, ambulatory care, and minors.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rates

• Daily and weekly payroll services

• Revalidation and appraisal services

• Career progression and market-insight with your own expert consultant

• Access to CPD events & training courses

• Access to exclusive locum opportunities with more preferred supplier contracts
