based in Liverpool, currently seeking an experienced
Shift Supervisor
to join their operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established
Team Leader
or
Senior Machine Operative

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise your shift team, ensuring all activities comply with
    Health, Safety, and Environmental
    standards.
  • Organise and allocate daily tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor on-site operations, including sorting, processing, loading, and unloading materials.
  • Conduct
    pre-shift briefings and toolbox talks
    to communicate priorities and reinforce safety.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of shift reports, materials processed, and incident logs.

Skills & Experience

Strong leadership or supervisory background within an industrial or FMCG environment.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Sound understanding of
Health & Safety
and environmental compliance.

Confident problem solver with a proactive and adaptable mindset.

IT-literate, with good reporting and documentation skills.

Desirable:

  • Forklift licence (FLT)
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, MHE systems, or continuous improvement principles
