Junior Counterparty Management Specialist

Insight Investment is looking for a skilled and proactive Junior Analyst to join the Counterparty Management team. As a Junior Analyst, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the smooth onboarding, maintenance, and operational readiness of trading counterparties.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of investment operations functions, including account setup, broker relationship management, trading enablement, and compliance coordination. You will work closely with senior team members to uphold high standards of operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic broker engagement.
Role Responsibilities:
Account Onboarding
•Support the coordination of counterparty selection for new accounts.
•Assist in onboarding processes for new fundings and account setups.
•Help prioritise counterparties in line with funding timelines.
•Contribute to account off-boarding activities and documentation.
•Participate in panel management efforts to ensure adequate coverage and diversification.
Relationship Management
•Help organise and prepare materials for biannual onboarding review meetings with top brokers.
•Assist in compiling Monthly NAV and leverage data for credit review purposes.
•Act as a junior point of contact for counterparties, escalating issues as needed.
•Support Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and documentation.
•Help facilitate biannual trading review meetings with key brokers.
•Coordinate due diligence calls with counterparty credit teams under supervision.
Trading Readiness
•Assist in validating that internal systems (Insight and NT) reflect accurate trading and collateralisation readiness.
•Participate in the ongoing review and validation of trading lines across platforms and venues.
New Broker Approvals
•Help maintain and update the Insight Approved Broker list.
•Support the administration of counterparty approval workflows and documentation.
Experience Required:
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Proven record of working collaboratively
•Curiosity about economics, finance or investment finance
•Outstanding communication skills, ability to articulate ideas clearly
•Ability to operate in a changing environment and challenge the status quo, innovative
•Proven record of taking the initiative to act, self-starter
•Inquisitive, strong desire to learn and grow professionally
•Track record of embracing new technologies (such as AI) and applying to a variety of challenges.
