Gidi Grill is a West-African and Caribbean inspired Fusion restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Location : Dundee

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

-Create employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.

  • Motivate and mentor team members to provide excellent service.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.

  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.

  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols.

Customer Service:

  • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

  • Foster a positive dining experience for customers.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and minimize costs.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and events.

  • Utilize social media and other platforms to attract customers and build brand awareness.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including health and safety standards, liquor laws, and labor laws.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager for 100+ covers or similar role.

  • Personal Alcohol licence is required

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of restaurant management software.

  • Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.

  • Food safety certification is a plus

  • UK driver's license is an advantage
