About Group Corporate Development and Integration Management at LSEG
The Group Corporate Development and Integration Management team partners closely with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Committee (ExCo) to shape LSEG's corporate strategy and drive its inorganic growth agenda.
Over the years, the team has played a central role in delivering LSEG's M&A strategy—executing industry-defining transactions that have transformed both the Group and the broader financial markets. These include:
- The $27bn acquisition of Refinitiv, a landmark deal that reshaped LSEG's data and analytics capabilities.
- Our transformative strategic partnership with Microsoft, accelerating product innovation for the industry.
- The recently announced Post Trade Solutions partnership with leading investment banks, rapidly growing our capabilities in our Markets division.
- Complex divestitures such as Borsa Italiana and Beta+, implemented to streamline and refocus the Group's portfolio.
- Strategic bolt-on acquisitions including Acadia, GDC, TORA, and Quantile, which have strengthened our capabilities across data, risk, and post-trade services.
These transactions have not only advanced LSEG's strategic priorities and growth ambitions—they have also redefined the competitive landscape of our industry. As LSEG and the industry continues to transform, we anticipate more M&A activity and the team continues to work in close partnership with the CEO, CFO, and ExCo to develop and implement the Group's long-term strategy.
