Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Chinese-speaking Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes.

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is essential to communicate effectively with our warehouse and management teams.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for heavy lifting tasks.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and quality control of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain an organised warehouse environment by stocking shelves and ensuring all items are stored correctly.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Follow allhealth and safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse efficiency and workflow.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Chinese to support daily operations and coordination.
  • Be available to work on Saturdays if required.

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience is highly advantageous, particularly in materials handling, picking, packing, and stocking.
  • Experience with quality control processes will be considered an asset.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physically capable of performing warehouse tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to speak and understand Chinese is a mandatory requirement.
