Telefónica Tech is seeking an experienced
Cyber Security Architecture Manager
to lead secure-by-design practices across both IT and OT environments within our complex, highly regulated customer. This role is critical in strengthening cyber resilience, driving technology roadmaps, and ensuring compliance with cyber, privacy and regulatory obligations.

**1–2 days per week on-site

Role Overview

You will be responsible for shaping, governing and assuring security architecture across the organisation. This includes maintaining the cyber security technology roadmap, reviewing solution designs, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment to corporate standards, policies and regulatory frameworks.

You will work closely with Enterprise, Solution and Platform Architects, alongside operational and project teams, to ensure all technology—across IT and OT—is secure, compliant, and aligned with wider business strategy.

Qualifications

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience within
    Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)
    – ideally Utilities
  • Strong background in both
    IT and OT cyber security
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent
  • Relevant cyber certifications (e.g.,
    CISM, CISSP, Security+
    )
  • Deep knowledge of cloud security and modern IT architecture
  • Understanding of NIS, GDPR, Privacy by Design and Secure by Design
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving security improvements
  • Detail-focused, strategic, calm under pressure, and adept at translating technical risk into business impact

Desirable:

  • Experience with TOGAF, Zachman or similar architecture frameworks
  • Background as an IT or OT Architect
  • Critical National Infrastructure (Utilities) experience or understanding of OT operational challenges
