SEN Classroom Assistant – Primary School – Epping

An inclusive primary school in Epping is actively seeking a dedicated SEN Classroom Assistant to join their team and support young students in their daily learning activities. In this full-time, permanent role, you will work closely with teachers to ensure that each child receives the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to thrive in their educational journey. Your contributions will be essential in fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment for students with special educational needs (SEN).

Role Highlights

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, ideally with exposure to SEN support or in an educational setting
  • A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students and support their individual needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to create an effective learning environment
  • A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
