Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our professional firm of Accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a Christian Charity, managing accounts payable, and supporting overall financial management processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in various accounting software platforms and contribute to the organisation's financial health. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in financial services and accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software - Xero.
- Responsible for accounts of for a charity with vulnerable people
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role within financial services or related sectors
- ACT Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero,
- Strong understanding of financial management, financial accounting
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
