Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Greeter to warmly welcome visitors and customers to our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to create a welcoming environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop organisational and interpersonal skills while representing our brand in a positive manner. Multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable to assist diverse clientele effectively.

Duties

• Greet all visitors and customers with a warm and professional demeanour
• Provide information about services or products as required
• Manage queues efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of visitors
• Assist with basic merchandising tasks to enhance the customer experience
• Upsell products or services where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities
• Maintain organisation of the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and welcoming
• Answer phone calls courteously, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Direct visitors to relevant departments or personnel promptly
• Support organisational tasks such as scheduling appointments or managing visitor logs
• Utilise time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout shifts

Qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Strong communication skills with an approachable manner
• Organised with good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions or data entry
• Experience in merchandising or retail is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
