  • Leading the identification, analysis, and evaluation of operational risks and controls across all areas of the Customer Management Centre, including our outsourced partner.
  • Developing and monitoring key risk indicators to measure business performance against Currys' risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintaining and reviewing Risk & Compliance policies, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • Collaborating with the CMC Leadership Team to design and implement operational best practices, process improvements, and enhanced controls.

You will need:

  • Proven experience in risk assessment and/or compliance within a Retail and financial services environment; knowledge of Financial Services Regulations is highly desirable.

  • Strong track record in complex, fast-paced, customer-focused business environments.
  • Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations confidently to senior leadership.
  • Experience in managing remote teams effectively.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, able to simplify complex issues and deliver creative solutions for maximum impact.
  • To be results-driven with a clear focus on initiating and delivering objectives through to completion.

It would be great if you had:

  • Familiarity with risk and control frameworks (training will be provided on all relevant frameworks and policies).
