The Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Transportation Support Specialist to support the freight and transportation needs of our fast-growing eCommerce operation. In this role, you will be responsible for booking freight, scheduling pickups, tracking loads end-to-end, and resolving shipping issues quickly and independently. You'll work cross-functionally with Logistics, Customer Service, and internal stakeholders to ensure goods move on time, accurately, and with strong communication.

What You'll Do
  • Book and coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments with carriers, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company standards.
     

  • Schedule timely pickups with reliable carriers and freight services to support smooth operations and on-time delivery.
     

  • Oversee and track shipments from pickup through delivery, managing loads effectively to meet deadlines and expectations.
     

  • Monitor shipment status daily and communicate updates, delays, and exceptions to carriers and internal teams.
     

  • Proactively troubleshoot issues related to delays, missing items, damages, or transportation discrepancies, driving resolution and next steps.
     

  • Identify and implement process improvements across logistics and transportation workflows to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and support scalable growth.
     

  • Interpret inbound and outbound communications and execute logistics tasks independently with minimal oversight.
     

  • Partner closely with Logistics teammates, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure smooth coordination and quick issue resolution.
     

  • Maintain accurate and organized records for shipment tracking, documentation, and communication logs.
     

  • (Other related duties may be assigned.)
     

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight management, or supply chain support (eCommerce experience preferred).
     

  • Experience booking freight and scheduling pickups across various transportation modes and methods.
     

  • Familiarity working with 3PLs, carriers, and inventory systems.
     

  • Strong ability to manage and track multiple loads simultaneously with accuracy and urgency.
     

  • High attention to detail, especially related to tracking, scheduling, documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
     

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence collaborating in a remote-first environment.
     

  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, logistics platforms, and internal systems to monitor shipments and organize workflows.
     

  • Highly organized, able to multitask and manage competing priorities without dropping details.
     

  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
     

  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
